I am not going to vote anybody for the ECHA award because I feel that the commodification of moral values is a disgusting manifestation of the wrong virtues that are already projected and impressed upon the young. I feel like making an announcement in school to inform everybody to boycott this award but

To all my friends

I love my friends. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for being silly, for always asking how I am whenever I am down, being there when I need you, for caring about me all the time, for commenting on my blogposts, for being my secret admirers, for the laughter on a bad day, for accepting me for who I am. It's hard for me to find people I really enjoy being with and feel totally at ease with. So, I'm glad I found such a great group of friends to count on.

Life's monotonous drone is taking it's toll on my ever wandering heart. 

The pressure of doing well and getting good grades is becoming a shadow of an echo in the back of my mind. A constant ever present reminder but seeming increasingly insignificant in the bigger scheme of things. One day after another, a cycle of school, solitude, homework, revision is a chant that cries my name from the carefully jotted down plan in my journal. "This is right, this is good", shouts my nameless, faceless future. As I skim the newspaper, I begin to see gaps and patterns of the world that I used to be blinded to. Issues that question the success of our education. I have this scholarly urge to change the shape of the world. It's almost like I am at the cross roads but rather than walking the paths past trodden. I seek to carve out my own path. To walk straight into the wilderness and leave a trail of stronger grass in my wake. I do not aim to change the world but to do what I can to heal this somewhat bruised and trampled world.

I digress. I complicate. I am human.

I like all colours

People do not hate or love colours but rather the ideas or beliefs associated with individual colours or combinations of colours. Thus, when I say that I have no favourite colour or that I like all colours, I could 

a) have no preference for any specific colour because I view them as just colours 

or

b) i find good qualities that are associated with these colours that I can relate to eg. orange could connote vibrance 

or 

c) be, in fact, a unicorn
